10th International Academic Conference

“State, Economy, Society”
It is a true pleasure to announce that Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University is organising the 10th Jubilee International Academic Conference “State, Economy, Society” which will be held from 13th to 15th June 2010 on the university campus at ul. Gustawa Herlinga-Grudzińskiego 1, Krakow.
During this year’s conference, in addition to the twelve thematic sections in Polish, we are organising one section led only in English, which will be devoted to the subject of Globalisation in the Contemporary World. Anyone willing to contribute please register and submit the title of the paper accompanied by an abstract (up to 500 characters in length) by 9th April 2010 via the online service www.10conference.ka.edu.pl. Please take note of the fact that only electronic submissions are accepted. There is also a possibility of participating in the conference without presenting a paper. In such a case registration is due by 15th May 2010.
All papers delivered at the conference will be published after they have been positively refereed. Information whether a paper has been qualified for presentation will be sent by email not later than 5thMay 2010. The detailed programme of the conference and the invitation for the Jubilee Gala, which will be held in the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre, will be sent out by traditional post not later than 20th May 2010, only to those who register on time.
The conference fee is 320 PLN, accommodation rates are 120 PLN or 200 PLN per night in a single or double room, respectively. Please note that two participants from each partner institution are exempted from the accommodation and registration fees.
